New SIRE campaign launched: Find your bright spot and dare to hope

The new SIRE campaign is up and running, this time on the topic of Hope. SIRE stands for Stichting Ideële Reclame and makes difficult social topics discussable. 

Today, there is a lot of negative news that can cause courage to sink in from time to time. With this campaign, SIRE hopes to reach people and convey the energy of hope, because with hope we are capable of much more than we think.

Fortunately, when you think carefully about what you think is important, what you want to achieve and what you hope others achieve, there are plenty of things to be hopeful about. And with that hope, the world is made a little more beautiful.

Therefore, the core message of the new campaign is Find your bright spot and dare to hope. The objective of this campaign is to let people in need of a bright spot experience an energy of hope. SIRE would like to get people thinking: what gives them hope themselves and how they can share and/or convey this feeling to others.

Hope is different for everyone; everyone needs to look for their personal bright spot. N=5 created the creative concept. In the campaign, hope is visualized as fireflies, they point the way to hopeful moments and stories.

Various medium types are being used to spread the message. STROOM has engaged various media partners for this purpose. The campaign can be seen on TV and (Digital) Out of Home. Further visible in newspapers, magazines and heard on the radio. In addition, the campaign is spread online with video and display expressions.

For social, street interviews were conducted where people were asked about their bright spot. The interviews are posted on social channels where people can join the conversation with each other under the hashtag #lightpoint.

To provide even more depth to the campaign, a podcast was created in which five different BN'ers from different generations shared a special story from which they were able to draw hope. Through the podcast, SIRE tries to give others hope.
