October 12 marked the2nd edition of the STROOM x JustDiggit bundraiser. JustDiggit's mission: to green Africa by digging bunds. The goal of this event was to raise as much money as possible and contribute to JustDiggit's mission. Enthusiastic operators, customers, business partners and colleagues were there to help achieve this goal. They competed with each other during GAMENIGHT.
What does JustDiggit do?
As we know, JustDiggit's mission is to green Africa, and thus cool the earth. How do they do this? By applying nature-based solutions that reduce global warming by 37%. One of the techniques is by digging Bunds. Rainwater is collected in pits (bunds) so that the water has time to soak into the ground, instead of being washed away. In this way, vegetation returns in places where it was not possible before.
Gamenight
The bundraiser was all about gamenight. After the guests streamed in, the evening could begin. Merel from JustDiggit was also present and gave an update on JustDiggit. After this it was time for the real thing, it was time to game. Several teams competed fanatically with each other during Mario Kart, shuffleboard, table tennis, table soccer and beer pong. After the exciting beerpong final between team DPG Media and team Validators, team Validators was crowned winners. After the honors, it was time to reveal what the evening was really about, how much money was raised?

Result
An extraordinarily nice amount has been raised, allowing 396 bunds to be purchased this year, thus greening 49,104m2! In other words, that's almost 7 soccer fields! An amazing result.
