Do you want to get to know yourself and the world around you better? In the latest STROOM tips, you'll find a book and 2 podcasts that will get you thinking.
- Podcast: How are you like this?
Psychologists Thijs Launspach and Lennard Toma explore personality differences in their podcast "How are you like this?" and give tools to deal with your own personality. They don't think you need to improve yourself, but knowing more about it can help you better understand yourself and others. It is a very interesting podcast where quite complex topics are discussed in a light-hearted way. Almost every episode there is an "aha" moment that you might not have thought about before.

- Book: The alchemist
Written by Paulo Coelho, this novel follows the journey of a young shepherd boy named Santiago. In search of his personal legend, he leaves his familiar surroundings to pursue his dream: to find treasure in Egypt. During his journey through the Sahara Desert, Santiago meets several people, including the mysterious alchemist, who gives him all kinds of life lessons and insights. The alchemist teaches Santiago to listen to his heart, recognize different "signs" of the universe and achieve his life's purpose. During his journey, Santiago also encounters various issues that distract him from achieving his goal, but by continuing to follow his heart, he still succeeds. I would definitely recommend this book to people looking for personal development, inspiration and spiritual growth.

- Podcast: Shamelessly Randsted
A podcast where a mirror is held up to you as a young urbanite. Doortje and Perre talk about young people in the city. They discuss subjects like the Van Moof (which you secretly want despite all its drawbacks) or that one pistachio croissant for which you want to stand in line for 2 hours.
