Reading Tip:
- The humming fly effect - Eva van den Broek and Tim den Heijer
The other day I attended a lecture where advertising writer Tim den Heijer talked about the book he wrote with behavioral scientist Evan van den Broek. An inspiring book about little things that drive behavior. Eva and Tim take you through the different forms of recognizing the humbug effect, avoiding its negative influence and using it in a good way. At work, at school, in the store, on the street and at home. Like Van Moof who received a lot of bike returns because they were damaged and therefore now sends their bikes in a TV box, reducing the number of returns by 35%. A book that teaches you to look at things differently and an inspiration for every marketer who wants to be stimulated.
For fans, you can also follow the podcast 'Het Bromvliegeffect' in which Eva and Tim take you through everyday phenomena that influence your behavior, how to recognize, avoid and apply them.

Listening Tip:
- Another day.
We have to keep laughing to cope with life, after all.

Viewing Tip:
- Sleepers
Sleepers is about a corrupt cop who has ended up as a cop on the criminal circuit. Martin Oudkerk as the cop is called, has a stepfather named Hans van Kestin who is a known criminal. He deliberately sent Oudkerk to the police academy at the age of 18 to pass on information to his criminal organization. As new criminals enter the circuit, Martin is increasingly drawn into the underworld. If you have seen Mocro Mafia, this is definitely recommended. Want to see how this ended? You can watch it on Videoland.
