STROOM continues to grow and we welcome our new Junior Communications Consultant: Patrick. He is happy to introduce himself to you!
Who are you?
My name is Patrick Bot, 23 years old and living in Barendrecht. From my marketing related studies, challenging internships at TUI and Allianz, and work experience at IKEA, I am ready as a starter to put the learned theory into practice.
How do you fill your position at STROOM?
As a Junior Communications Consultant, I advise our clients on how to achieve growth in their brand and business. This by creating a media plan and strategy together with a specialist team. Throughout this process I am the first point of contact for the client.
What did you do for this?
At the end of January, I proudly received my Master of Science in Marketing Management. Before this I did Commercial Economics: Global Marketing & Sales with a specialization in Sales and Account Management. During my studies I had diverse internships; at TUI as a Branding & Campaign intern and at Allianz as a Product Marketing intern. In addition, I was employed at IKEA as a Frontliner. As Frontliner I was responsible for the Customer Relations department with a focus on the checkout line. Here I ensured an optimal deployment of staff, was the contact point for customer and colleague, performed financial administration and closed the day.
What are your growth aspirations?
My ambition is to keep growing continuously. For now, that means to quickly become familiar with the possibilities of the various media channels. In the future, I want to work for ever larger clients and help them achieve their marketing goals.
What energizes you in your work?
I am energized by a fast-paced and dynamic environment with people who are as dedicated to their work as I am.
What do you get energy from in your free time?
In my free time you can find me on a terrace with friends, in the gym, or in front of the TV when Formula 1 is on.
What can people wake you up at night for?
I prefer not to be disturbed when I sleep. If you do wake me up, take me to a sunny resort.
