Multiple campaigns in one year, the use of new media and a full TV broadcast of Tijd voor MAX. In many ways, the SIRE 2021 campaign is unique and innovative compared to previous campaigns.
Let's talk about that.
Over 250,000 children grow up in poverty and this number is increasing explosively. That is why SIRE launched a campaign in March to raise awareness about this. The theme of the campaign: '1 in 13 children in our country lives in poverty. Let's talk about that'. SIRE's aim was not only to arouse indignation, but also to encourage the Netherlands to start a real discussion.
Awareness of the issues
The campaign is well rated and is even among one of the best rated campaigns in recent years. The theme of the campaign is seen as important, and interviewees feel that [more] attention should be paid to it. In addition, awareness of the issue has improved. So says research on this campaign by PanelWizard. It is estimated that - with the campaign on TV, radio online, OOH (out of home), cinema and print - approximately 99% of the Netherlands 18+ was reached with an average of 46 contacts.
