STROOM

STROOM grow further

STROOM continues to grow and we welcome a new colleague. He is happy to introduce himself to you!

Who are you?

My name is Ruben Bronsink and I am 23 years old. I grew up on the Veluwe and after studying in Groningen for four years, I went to Rotterdam in 2020 to follow the master's in Media & Business at Erasmus University. I have now completed this master and will be working at STROOM as a Jr. Communications Consultant.

How do you fill your position at STROOM?

As Jr. Communications Consultant, I will support the team of consultants in advising on, and executing media campaigns for our advertisers.

What did you do for this?

For my master at Erasmus University, I studied in Groningen for four years, where, among other things, I served on the Executive Board of Stichting KEI. Stichting KEI is the organization behind the KEI-week, the biggest introduction week in the Netherlands! I also worked at Bencom, the company behind comparison sites such as Gaslicht.com and Poliswijzer.nl. In these positions I learned to switch quickly between different tasks and to work with tight deadlines: something I take with me in my tasks at STROOM.

What are your growth aspirations?

As a Jr. Communications Consultant, my goal is to support clients as best I can in building their brand. In addition, I am looking forward to learning a lot from all the other disciplines within Candid: the marketing platform of which STROOM is a part.

If you're doing what everyone else is doing, you're doing it wrong.

What energizes you in your work?

I get energy from complex issues that I can sink my teeth into. It can't be difficult enough for me!

What do you get energy from in your free time?

In my free time, I get energy from going to the gym and enjoy going to the terrace with friends.

What can people wake you up at night for?

I prefer to sleep through the night. But if I have to choose something, a good classic movie like The Shawshank Redemption would make me want to interrupt my sleep. This is, because of the story, one of the best films for me.
