In the category wAMMA: the change AMMA, this year around the COVID19 theme, one of the top prizes went to STROOM and SIRE. We are extremely happy and proud of this wonderful result. During a festive dinner evening in Sugar City Amsterdam, the AMMAs were awarded by MWG. Of the more than 20 entries in this category, 5 AMMAs were eventually awarded of which 1 Gold for the winner TUI travel and 4 times bronze.
The winning campaign of SIRE and STROOM
Last year, Corona spontaneously created all kinds of sweet initiatives in society to give each other a heartbeat. Upon seeing this, SIRE immediately thought: #DASLIEF. Following the highly successful #DOESLIEF campaign from 2019, SIRE and its media partners managed to develop this complete campaign in one week.
The way of hooking up is distinctive, because the campaign was based on existing initiatives in society and there was no commercial interest involved. With #DASLIEF, SIRE wanted to inspire, motivate and stimulate a sense of belonging. SIRE also wanted to create a positive sound to counteract all the negative reporting. Last year, this #DASLIEF campaign was also awarded a SAN Accent Award in the category: Current Affairs. With this award another reward for distinctive work.
And there was more good news for STROOM. Naomi Gnocchi (Communications Consultant) was one of three nominees for YIM Talent of the Year. Unfortunately, the main prize on this evening (just) passed her by, but she deservedly earned a place of honor on the podium. Top 3 Media Talents in the Netherlands: a super achievement!
All in all STROOM looks back on a festive evening with a series of wonderful results, all other AMMA winners: congratulations!
