Are people still open to your message? Where can you still reach your target audience? Maybe advertising as we are used to has had its day?

Why is TikTok growing so fast?
Among other things, Rutger discussed the latest trends in media. For example, why is everyone talking about TikTok and why is it growing so fast? It's because of the underlying socio-cultural trend of Generation Z, as this generation is totally focused on creating and sharing. Apps like TikTok and Snap enable the target group to do just that.
What will remain the same in 2020?
Joram Helmer, head of strategy at advertising agency XXS Amsterdam, talked about things staying the same. Trends follow each other in rapid succession, new technology is not yet mainstream or the next one is already around the corner, one platform is not yet hip or the next one is even trendier. But fortunately there are also things that don't change much, if at all. More on this in the following video.
