Diabetes Fund and Blokker chance to win Golden Loeki

We congratulate our clients Blokker and Diabetes Fund on winning! They are in the top 10 Golden Loeki commercials of the second quarter. The win puts them up for the Golden Loeki 2019 award.

Diabetes Fund

In collaboration with advertising agency Big Amsterdam, Diabetes Fund developed the concept and commercial for Bloem. During the concept phase, Stroom was hooked up to help think about the campaign as a whole.

"The focus is on showing diabetes and its impact on daily life. The fact that you actually have to be constantly alert, hence the mantra 'prick, measure, inject, eat.' The spot has impact because Bloem does not play or act, but really gives the Netherlands a glimpse into her life with diabetes."

Blokker

"Since about the end of 2017, Blokker has found its way back up. With a different marketing approach, more visibility has been created and Blokker has been able to attract more customers. Mass media efforts such as leaflets and TV have played a big role in this. The cooperation with the KNVB and the support of the Orange Lionesses were no more than a logical result of this initiated course.

During the entire World Cup, Blokker aired various commercials surrounding women's soccer. Blokker wanted to support the Orange Lionesses and create a warm Orange atmosphere that we in the Netherlands cherish. At Blokker you could also collect Dutch national team dolls during the campaign.

There was a massive campaign, especially with the 90" spot version. During the World Cup you couldn't ignore Blokker. It is great to see that the long version is appreciated and comes out as the Gouden Loeki quarterly winner. Blokker and advertising agency Alfred; Congratulations!
