By now it is tradition at Stroom: the Lunch Session. Last week we taught clients and relations how to advertise with online radio. During this session Joris van der Pol (general director of OMS/Talpa (a.o. radio 538, Veronica, Sky Radio)) and Rutger Mackenbach (of Stroom of course) brought us up to date on the most important trends, developments and possibilities of online radio, Radio 2.0.
Speakers
Joris updated us on digital disruption in the audio landscape. And Rutger gave insight into the media opportunities surrounding advertising with online radio.
For example, linear listening time is coming under increasing pressure while overall audio consumption is increasing. Audio is available through a variety of devices, and the smartphone in particular is a very important device for listening to audio. This was one of the trends discussed during the lunch session.

After the Lunch Session, our tips and tricks allowed people to get right to work with Radio 2.0. Watch a short video of the event here:
In the next video Joris and Rutger will take a closer look at advertising with online radio. If this sounds interesting keep an eye on the website and we look forward to seeing you at our next session!
